Guided Tours
Guided tours of The Grange are a feature of every open day. You will be welcomed at the entrance to the gallery wing and be invited to peruse the exhibits before being taken on a tour of Sturt’s home and his garden. Due to the valuable collection of Sturt’s artefacts and furniture, visitors are not allowed to wander The Grange without a museum guide. Guides will be on hand in the Gallery to answer any questions or point out any special features. A series of historical documentaries can also be viewed.
Group tours can be arranged for mid-week with Morning or Afternoon Tea an option. Many groups enjoy visiting in the morning and having lunch at one of the many of the local restaurants or hotels. Visitors should allow at least 90 minutes for a full tour.
If you wish to hold a special event in the park or garden, you can arrange for the museum to be opened for your guests to tour.
